Just awful. I cannot tell you how much this upset me. I thought about doing a blog, but I couldn't--I may say something I don't want to say. She was a well-educated, caring person with great courage. Whoever did this is a coward.
I hear ya, Enemy... it was very upsetting, and I just didn't know what else to say other than to just put her picture up, here. Heartbreaking! It reminds me of soooo many other greats, of my day, who were gunned down... then again, this bullshit is going on all the time, all over the world... some just effect us more than others. She was definitely worth mentioning... and perhaps I will write more, later, for now this will have to suffice.
Again...this is so senseless! When does it end?
Sorry..I haven't posted in awhile or even answered comments. Stomach bug hit my home and decided to stay awhile!

Hi, Matty, so glad to know all is well in your world. I got a little worried when you disappeared for so long, not like you. Sorry about the bug, but at least it wasn't anything really serious. I hope you had a Joyful Holiday, and that your New Year will Ring in Peacefully! I don't know when it will end, I begin to think the answer is never, since mankind has been evil for so long. I don't get it.
A tragedy, to be sure. She was a good woman who was sometimes tripped up in the politics of her age.
In the end, the politics of her age conspired to destroy her.
It is sad.
But I just wanted to say happy New Year to you on behalf of your friends at the butterfly bar.

Greetings, All. I am new to this blog and feel that I may have much to share, and to learn from you. My comment to this post is that I know a young independent filmmaker who is making a documentary about Benazir Bhutto. My husband and I worked for him when he ran for State Representative in District 56 (Summit, Eagle, Lake Counties, Colorado). Not certain when and if it is due out but I will let you know, if there is any interest.
