Clouds and shadows descended upon the day... marring a clear vision that had long since vanished...
...and seemingly, now far beyond our sight...
There seemed no hope... then... a giant amongst us... full of vibrant color...
...and raising songs of rejoicing, inside our hearts...
The waters are still gently flowing... from the wells and depth of our human souls and minds... blood-wrenched, from pain and struggle and long abuse... yet, flowing still...
Now, a chance to glance past the death, where decay had set in...
...seeking to find, through the nearly bare trees...
A re-awakening...
...a new burst...
...even while we turn, in season...
...a bend in the, otherwise, flat waters...
...where beauty, love, and hope might still exist...

Thanks for dropping by... I love making photographs... sometimes they turn out nicely, other times they don't... but, the good ones always speak to me, the words and thoughts attach themselves to the images... the one with the big tree, if one were to click onto the photo it will enlarge and there is a person on the right side of that tree... it shows just how big that tree really is...

Hi, Babs, so glad you popped in, I read your comments all the time over at Sing's place :D ... well, I'm in South Carolina and these shots are near Edgefield County, small place waaaay out in the country... it truly is quite beautiful... the one of the stream is amazing, the colors that were showing... hope you'll come back by!
