Just Some Stuff To Fill A Boring Day

Generally speaking, I don't care for photographs of buildings... especially huge monstrosities, such as this one... however, this was taken very early, one morning, when the sun was rising along the canal.

As a rule, the actual color of this building is a pale and ugly grayish beige...

...this particular morning, however, when the water was as still and silent as glass, the tilt of the morning sun cast it in this lovely shade of pink. This is a low income apartment building and reminds me very much of the military housing complex I lived in while in Germany. Perhaps this shade of pink casts the memory in a different light... oh, what a reflection!

This is the Archibald Butt Memorial Bridge, and as close as we get to Paris, in this small Southern town, when it's all lit up at night. It has the best acoustics, when passing underneath, on our Moonlight Musical Tours, the best shade on steaming hot summer days... and it's the best screaming bridge, ever, for all the hundreds of school kids we carry underneath, in boats trips, down the canal.

This is a close-up

of one of the eagles,

amidst the midnight sky...

... ok, so maybe it wasn't midnight,

but, it sounds good :)

Just a little more reflection in Columbia, after checking out the Egyptian exhibition, earlier this year...
and, more recently, the Dale Chihuly: Seasforms exhibition. Whoa!

A very warm and sunny mural...
...by someone...

A fantastic mural,
by Blue Sky!

... and one Little Pink House...
