One of my favorite songs of all time. There was a clearer version, but it was just still pics of Gregg. He seems to really be feelin' this song, however... and Graham Nash, too? Wow!

They sound real sweet together ..good choice.

One of my favorite songs too ..I used to have the album in vinyl.

Re: Oprah County ~ You were wondering what that guy on the beach was all about ..I re-titled the post ‘Predatory Behavior’ because that’s what I think it was about ..also, cocaine and hyper-speech go together.

If you have a reader full of email don't fret ..I'm just trying to catch up with correspondence. Lee

Cocaine and predatory probably do go together... regarding These Days, I have it on the Laid Back vinyl, along with one of my other favs Multicolored Lady. Oh, the days... *sigh*... memories...

shimmerrings, i have thought about you here and there when i think about dealing with the loss of someone i love. i don't visit your blog often, but today i've glided in to find that you are on the edge of a new life and new career. not just communication, i'd say, but navigation. it all sounds perfect. the universe is rooting for you.

just wanted to add a handclap to your well earned success. go for it, girl...

kj... thanks for dropping by. I had no idea I had private visitors, lol. Yes, indeed, the Universe is lining things up for me, perfectly. To be happy and satisfied with what we do in life is a wonderous things... and even more wonderous, when it all takes us by surprise!

Re: fractal patterns ~ you said it perfectly ..it’s in the shape of the trees that dance in the wind.

Fractal patterns are the most efficient way for trees to absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen back into the atmosphere. Makes me think they could be used to help organizations collect goods and distribute them where they are needed more quickly and efficiently.

I lost ya on that one... see, I told you mathematics boggle my mind... let me hear more.

Biologists say that the fractal patterns found in trees give them greater surface area for absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen ..biomimicry suggests that they could be useful as a model for relief organizations that collect and deliver food and supplies. I haven’t thought about much more than that ..

the fractal patterns that we see around us may also be nature's way of getting the most out of it's limited bounty (lol) As you can see, I really haven't thought this through very well.

I just don't get the mimicry of the pattern for gathering and redistributing supplies... guess that one's a long way off, eh?

Bill Robertson said...

Yeah, well ..that part is actually my half-baked idea (lol) ..who knows.

If you want, you can see more about fractals ..pbs does an outstanding job. Click here to watch ~~>link

Holy shit! I've been to fractal sites before, but this one is really cool. I'll check it out, especially the environmental part.
